For The Love Of K Gardens creates gardens for schools, community organization, and families to enhance knowledge and enthusiasm for growing their own food.

Our Vision

It is our hope that we can provide raised box gardens to grow vegetables at schools, community organizations, and housing communities. Not only will we provide the resources for the gardens but we will also provide support by way of mentor/volunteers with already established “growers”.

We are working to spread the “grow your own food” movement. We want to focus on sustainable growing methods, recycling, waste minimization and nutrition education. It has been shown that kids (and likely many adults) are more likely to eat their own vegetables if they grow them and take ownership in them.
